SendHalo

Designing a Smarter Way to Share & Track Documents

View Live ↗
Role: Front-end Developer + UX Designer Stack: Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Vercel Type: SaaS Product

Problem

Sales teams, consultants, and freelancers share documents over email every day — but have zero visibility into what happens after. Did the client open it? Did they read page 5? When did they view it? Tools like DocuSend existed but were expensive ($50/month) and complex to use.

Goal

Build a secure, affordable document sharing platform that gives senders real engagement visibility — at half the market price.

My Approach

  • Mapped the end-to-end user journey — from upload to share to track
  • Designed a clean, minimal UI that made complex actions (setting expiry, password protection, tracking) feel effortless
  • Built the front-end in Next.js with a drag-and-drop upload interface
  • Designed permission controls so senders could restrict viewing, downloading, and editing
  • Implemented visit tracking UI — showing start time, % of document viewed, and time spent

Outcome

  • Delivered a fully functional SaaS product at $20/month vs competitor's $50/month
  • Core features shipped: upload, secure link generation, password protection, expiry dates, visit analytics
  • Deployed to production on Vercel with zero downtime

DevOTP

Building a Developer-First OTP Verification Platform

View Live ↗
Role: Full-Stack Developer Stack: Next.js, Node.js, Vercel Type: Developer Tool / API Product

Problem

Integrating email and phone verification into an app is painful for developers. Most solutions are overpriced, have poor documentation, or lock you into one verification method. Startups especially needed a simple, affordable, reliable OTP solution with global coverage.

Goal

Build a plug-and-play OTP verification platform that developers can integrate in minutes — supporting both email and SMS — with transparent pricing and no hidden fees.

My Approach

  • Designed the full product as a developer-first experience — clean docs, simple SDK, minimal setup
  • Built a JavaScript SDK (devotp-sdk) published to npm — developers integrate with just a few lines of code
  • Designed both client-side and server-side integration flows
  • Built pricing around actual usage — 1,000 verifications/month at $20, with $0.005 per additional
  • Ensured global coverage across 200+ countries with <2s response time
  • Designed for multiple use cases: E-commerce, FinTech, SaaS

Outcome

  • Shipped a production-ready verification platform with 99.9% uptime
  • SDK published and usable across any tech stack
  • 7-day free trial with 1,000 credits to reduce adoption friction
  • GDPR compliant with enterprise-grade security
